A slight chance of some severe weather Tuesday evening/night. Instability will be plentiful over the next 3 days with afternoon & evening CAPE values over 3000. I'm not too excited about Tuesday (or Wednesday) just yet. We'll look again tomorrow morning.

What appears to be a clearly defined line of where the northern border of storms should be today is east to west right across the metro area, with all of the action to the south. If anything happens here, it should be later on as the cap errodes. Oh well!
Turn on those AC units, it will be humid today.

From looking at the forecast soundings, if I were chasing today (should I skip the softball game tonight or not???), I would be looking at a storm track from Luverne to Mankato to Faribault. I would think from 3-9pm. This should also be pretty close to the position of the cold front.
