A frontal boundary looks to be moving north on Thursday with CAPE values around 4000. Combined with the low moving towards the east means that we could see some severe weather on Thursday in or near the metro area. The SPC isn't quite willing to put us under the slight risk area quite yet. Hmm. What am I missing?

So the SPC had put the area under a slight risk now that the Day 3 Outlook has been issued. Now looking like some severe weather is possible, but from the Twin Cities south to around the Iowa border.
