After talking with Aaron during the net last night, we talked a bit about a "channel line-up." That way, during a net, we can easily switch to a different frequency to talk spotter-to-spotter without tying up the repeater. Here is the finalized channel line-up:

Channel #1: 146.640- (146.2) Repeater in Cambridge [linked to 448.875- (146.2) in North Branch]
Channel #2: 145.230- (127.3) Backup Repeater in Crown, MN
Channel #3: 146.550 Simplex
Channel #4: 146.580 Simplex

So now we can just say, "Go to channel 3." This will keep the repeater clear for emergency traffic and reports and will still allow spotters to communicate with each other.

Also, you may want to enter the 127.3 tone for receiving also on the 145.230 repeater in Crown. There is a repeater in Wyoming, MN that uses the same freq with a different CTCSS tone. Being so close to it, you may want to use the tone.
